Welcome to GrocerEase. By accessing our website, mobile application, or utilizing our services to browse and order groceries, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Return Policy.
2. Account Registration & Security
To place orders, you may register using a valid mobile phone number and OTP verification. You agree to provide true, accurate, and current information regarding your identity and delivery address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
3. Product Catalog, Weights & Availability
GrocerEase partners with authorized local grocery supermarkets and fresh produce hubs:
- Stock Availability: All orders are subject to stock availability at your designated local fulfillment store. If an ordered item is unavailable, our team will either suggest a suitable substitute or issue an instant refund.
- Variable Weight Produce: Fresh fruits, vegetables, and dairy cuts are weighed individually. Minor variations in weight may occur; the final bill will accurately reflect the measured weight.
- Product Images: Images displayed on the storefront are for illustrative purposes. Actual packaging or brand design may slightly vary based on manufacturer updates.
4. Pricing, Billing & Payment Modes
Prices for items are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes (GST):
- Payment Methods: We accept Cash on Delivery (COD), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and GrocerEase Wallet balance.
- Delivery Charges: Applicable delivery fees are clearly indicated at checkout before you confirm your order. Express delivery is complimentary on orders meeting minimum spend thresholds.
- Promotional Discounts & Coupons: Promo codes and coupons must be entered prior to order placement and cannot be retroactively applied to completed orders.
5. Delivery Windows & Doorstep Drop-Off
We make every effort to deliver your order within the selected time slot or express delivery window (30-45 minutes). However, delivery schedules may occasionally be affected by severe weather, traffic conditions, or high order volumes. Our customer support and live tracking system will keep you informed of any adjustments.
6. Order Cancellation & Doorstep Returns
You may cancel your order at any time before the fulfilling store finishes packing your groceries. At the time of delivery, please verify the packages. Damaged, spoiled, or missing items may be returned immediately to the delivery rider or reported within 24 hours under our Return Policy for an instant refund or replacement.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All platform content, including trademarks, logos, graphic layouts, software code, and interface designs, is the property of GrocerEase and is protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction or scraping is strictly prohibited.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mohali / Chandigarh, India.
